A Visit at REGO-FIX

Choosing industrial software is a lot like buying clothes.
You can study the pictures and read the label. But you only know whether it really fits once you try it on.
That is why we organised a visit for HGG Profiling Specialists to REGO-FIX Group, where #Digital #Walter is already being used in practice on the shopfloor.
Together with Judith Stoop, Johan Nota, Jasper ten Hove and Sjaak Belleman from HGG Group, we wanted to see how Digital Walter is used in a real production environment.
Not in a presentation.
Directly at the machines.
Fabian Draga and Simon Waser guided us through the REGO-FIX production environment and shared openly how Digital Walter supports knowledge access on the shopfloor.
We saw how employees can scan QR codes at the machines and access the relevant knowledge directly where they need it.
But the visit was not only about the current setup at REGO-FIX.
For HGG, it was also an opportunity to explore another perspective.
As a machine builder, HGG could use the same approach not only for internal knowledge transfer, but also in service: making technical expertise easier to access for service teams and customers working with their machines.
That made the exchange especially valuable.
What works in practice?
What have the teams learned?
And how can the concept be transferred to another industrial environment?
A big thank you to Fabian and Simon for taking the time to host us and for sharing your experience so openly.
And thank you to Judith, Johan, Jasper and Sjaak for travelling from the Netherlands and contributing to such a valuable discussion.
You can evaluate features in a meeting room.
But you only understand the fit when you see the solution in action.
We enjoyed the exchange and look forward to continuing our collaboration!
